When most people finish their workouts, their muscles feel like they got hit by a Komatsu tractor. They feel heavy and tight. Foam rolling works to release that stress and lengthen those muscles so that they feel refreshed. Another issue is that people get what we call a ‘workout hangover’ the next day. This is similar to an alcohol hangover as you feel nothing but pain and regret. Thankfully, foam rollers after a workout will help prevent this, allowing you to have a successful workout the next day.
Foam rolling helps prevent injuries associated with tightness and overuse, such as delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Tight muscles have an increased risk of injury as they are not flexible enough to sustain the wear and tear of a strenuous activity such as working out. Foam rolling helps your muscles to relax and recover faster.
Muscle fascia are fibrous connective tissues that surround and penetrate our muscles. If a knot forms, it reduces your flexibility. Think of an elastic band that you have looped around itself 3 times. The band doesn’t have much flexibility and feels very tight. You may even have a knot form if you suck at following simple instructions. Fortunately, foam rolling is a form of myofascial release and regular foam rolling will help you stay limber.
I'm a professional UFC fighter and the most important thing about being a pro athlete is taking care of your body. That's why I use the Rehab Roller in between fights, workouts, and training. The Rehab Roller helps tackle problem areas which for me are my calves, my legs, and everything from all the ass-kicking that I do. I also use it to release virtually any hard to reach muscles like my hip flexors. I take hits and kicks day in and day out so it's helpful that I can release the tension in my arm, legs, upper and lower back. It's not your typical foam roller - it has so many features built into it including a slant board and even a finger, arm, and wrist stretcher. Rehab Roller is a game changer and my secret weapon for recovery and it should be yours too!
I'm a personal trainer at DBC Fitness in Miami where some of the world's greatest athletes come to train. My clients always ask me how they're able to get the most out of their workouts and perform their best during a game. The key is to improve your flexibility and speeding up recovery by stretching out and using tools like foam rollers before and after your workouts. Most athletes roll every single day before we workout and you should too. My secret weapon is the Rehab Roller. It's a 6-in-1 home therapy tool that not only is a high quality EVA foam roller but it also has a bunch of features built into it. I use it every day to stretch out my wrists, fingers and forearms which we normally neglect. I also use it to massage every muscle possible including hard to reach places like my hip flexors and psoas muscle... I incorporate the Rehab Roller into my daily routine to make sure I'm at peak performance when training my clients and also recommend that they use it to unlock their full potential.
I'm the punter for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL. I've been using this Rehab Roller for about a month now and I've already seen a lot of improvements in my TFL. For kickers, we usually have tight hips and instead of having to buy soft balls and lacrosse balls, you're able to really dig in and open it up... It has so many different components that you can use to benefit your life and to just make you more mobile.
I've been using the Rehab Roller for a while now and I absolutely love it. The Rehab Roller is a roller but it has 6 in 1 capabilities which is absolutely amazing. So it's a little bit like your mobile therapist. So whatever your trainer or your chiro would do as it releases your hips, your hip flexors, your glutes, your shoulders - any of that stuff - this guy will do it which is absolutely awesome.
Working out at home has been tough and with previous experience in high level sports for many years, a foam roller is always a key part of every training/workout session. The rehab roller exceeded all my expectations with the multi-purpose design i’m able to dig deeper into my muscles with a much higher degree of effectiveness than previous rollers I have owned. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to upgrade your at-home workout experience.
Never thought I would be able to stretch the tightness in my back out. Seamless ordering process and quick delivery. I love it
Very amazing for stretching, therapy, and relaxing the muscles after a work out and before bed.
This roller is so versatile. Multi function available. Many exercises with one roller. Love it
